CATHETERS:

The range of Foley catheters from L.IN.C. Medical are manufactured from soft silicone and include both round tip and open tip styles.  The catheters include paediatric and adult sizes, and female and standard lengths.  All L.IN.C. Medical catheters have a strengthened integral balloon that ensures the balloon deflates closely against the shaft so that the catheters can be removed with minimal trauma to the patient.
Each catheter comes provided with a pre-filled syringe for balloon inflation and an empty syringe for deflation of the catheter being removed.

Both the round tip and open tip catheters can be inserted via the urethral or suprapubic route, and can stay in place for up to 12 weeks.

The range of 2-litre urine drainage bags includes both reusable and single-use types.  The reusable bags have built-in bedside hangers for ease of attachment to bed frames, an easy-to-use outlet tap, sample port and a sheet clip for additional security.

These include the Bladder Instillation Kits (Product Code: BIK1) for introducing bladder washout solutions into the bladder without the need to disconnect the leg bag from the catheter.  This ensures that the leg bag/catheter junction is not broken other than during the weekly routine change interval so reducing the chance of infection.

Catheter valves are also available for those who decide not to use a leg bag with their indwelling catheter.

A range of three litre and five litre post-operative drainage bags enable easy and convenient bladder drainage during urology surgery.  The bags are fitted with a built-in hanger, Y-piece for irrigation, internal pump and hydrophobic vent and are sterile packed. [VIEW]

A 2.6 litre and 4 litre are also available without integral pump and Y-piece fitting.

A 3 litre and 5 litre with hydrophobic vent integral bag hanger, Pasteur chamber and integral pump for intermittent bladder irrigation.

Two urine meters are also available, one with a 1.5 litre drainable bag, and the other with 2 litre and 3 litre bag.  Both come fitted with accurate, easy to read plastic meters that can be emptied into the bags when full.  Built-in bedside hangers and tube clips make these urine meters convenient to use for all staff.
